TODAY’S FUNNY: Have you heard the news?
There is a new law being passed that will allow dogs and cats to be deducted as dependents on your tax returns! You can now deduct as many as 100 pets!
The new law is proposed to encourage more people to have pets instead of children. But please be careful…
The law only applies to one day of the year, April 1st!
Happy April Fool’s day!!!!

“WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE JESUS” (Good Friday ’18) John 12:20-36

“WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE JESUS” (John 12:20-36)
March 30, 2018 GOOD FRIDAY 2:30 PM
Rev. Jeremy B. Stopford, Pastor

INTRODUCTION: Years ago – a GOOD many years ago! – one of the most popular TV shows was “Bonanza”, and the fatherly figure was played by Lorne Greene. When I was almost 10 years old, that Easter vacation my parents and I took that week to go to Puerto Rico. The 3 of us went on a night time boat ride on what was billed then as “Phosphorescent Bay” – now called “bioluminaries” (and there is more than one today). And while it was neat to see all the sea creatures at night in their natural habitat, it was really neat to be sitting next to Lorne Greene who, with his new bride, was on his honeymoon! In today’s text, there are a number of non-Jews who asked to see Jesus. His response should mark our hearts today. PRAYER

“WE HAVE NO KING BUT ME” (Palm Sunday) Matt. 21:1-11

WE HAVE NO KING BUT ME (Matthew 21:1-11)
Palm Sunday March 25, 2018
Rev. Jeremy B. Stopford, Pastor

TODAY’S “SPECIAL”: “A Palm Funny”
It was Palm Sunday but because of a sore throat, 5-year-old Johnny stayed home from church with a sitter.
When the family returned home, they were carrying several palm leaves. Johnny asked them what they were for.
“People held them over Jesus’ head as he walked by,” his father told him.
“Wouldn’t you know it,” Johnny fumed, “the one Sunday I don’t go and Jesus shows up.”

Sonrise Service 2017: “The Big Question of Easter”

“THE BIG QUESTION OF EASTER” (Luke 24:1-8)
SONRISE SERVICE April 16, 2017 10:30 AM Pastor Jeremy B. Stopford

THIS MORNING’S “SPECIAL”: A “Bunny Funny”
A little girl came home from school and approached her mother: “Mom, some of the kids at school today said that you were the Easter Bunny. Is that true?”
The mom kneeled down by her daughter and said, “Do you really want to know?”
“Yes” the girl replied.
The mother sighed, thinking of the end of the innocence of childhood, “Yes, dear, I am the Easter Bunny.”
The little girl looked at her in amazement, “How do you get to ALL of those houses???”
